My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This anthology is for charity so I recommend everyone pick it up for that reason alone, but also, these stories are so different, there is something here for everyone. I read them all and ordered by which I personally liked best.

Off Duty by Sawyer Bennett is about a white girl who fell in love with a black boy in high school. Because of her family's prejudice, the relationship ended. Now she is a doctor and living hundreds of miles away from everyone she knew back then including her family. This is a sexy little second chance at love story, but what really got to me was the father/daughter moments. ♡ I had some tears.
"My greatest pride is in that you taught me something very important."

♂♂Closet Confessions by Kindle Alexander is about a gay couple. One is out and the other can't seem to take that step. There's a bit of mystery and cat & mouse play involved. Also it contains sweeness and longing. I really got a kick out of the eccentric aunt and the overly friendly nurses. It seemed like a lovely work environment. And of course the hook up scene was hot (speaking of closets), and the characters were sweet (in true Kindle fashion). I enjoyed this novella a lot and can't wait for next book.

Swimming in Shadows by Eden Butler is about a man on a mission. It's a bit mysterious and full of action. He's following leads to try to recover an item that belonged to his dead mother and may have clues as to her murder. So much happens in this short read. One thing leads him back to a girl from his past. This novella really intrigued my interested. I'm looking forward to the upcoming book.
There is poetry in naked flesh.

Healing Touch by Brenda Rothert is about a doctor who has to work with her ex husband (also a doctor) and the woman he left her for (a nurse). Although she could be bitter, she isn't. She just tries to dodge the couple. She has a huge project going to occupy her time. At the last minute there is a malfunction that needs mechanical attention. This leads to the head of that department and the doctor spending time alone working with and getting to know each other. This is a good read for those looking for mature, likable, sexy characters.

Rebound by Chelle Bliss is about an FBI agent who is running away from heartache. He meets a local chick who gives him some personal touring (and sex). Being around this girl makes everything feel better. Can a new girl and a new location be enough to get him over this slump in life? For those who have been reading this series, I'm sure it's a must.

Wanting to Forget by Toni Aleo is about a hockey player who has fallen for his best friend's sister. She's a good girl. He sees himself as bad news. Also he's out for an injury currently so he may be even more down on himself because of that. In order to try to rid his mind of this girl and change his mood, he goes to NOLA for some full on debauchery. He parties where the girls and alcohol flow like water, but can this really make him happy? This novella is part of a much bigger story.
